
TEVTA Punjab and Sichuan Vocational College of Cultural Industries (SVCCI), China have signed an MoU for the Establishment of “Panda Workshop” to promote Pakistan-China vocational and technical education cooperation and jointly cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talent in IT-related training courses. The agreement is founded on the principles of reciprocity, equality, and mutual respect.
The MoU was signed by Chairman TEVTA Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), Retd., representing TEVTA Punjab, and Dean of the School of Art and Design Guo Guanghai, representing Sichuan Vocational College of Cultural Industries (SVCCI).
Under this strategic framework agreement, both institutions will jointly establish training bases for vocational skills training, technical certification, and pre-employment training. They will co-develop diversified talent training programs, digital teaching resources, and training standards, while also conducting applied research on vocational education standards and curriculum systems.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening Pak-China educational ties and building a skilled workforce equipped to meet the demands of the modern digital economy.
Later, the Chinese Delegation visited the Luban Workshop, Silk Road Institute, Hospitality Department, Language Course Classrooms, and other facilities at GTTI Gulberg, Lahore.
