
TEVTA’s flagship “Caring Hands” program has been officially inaugurated at GTTI, Gujjarpura, Lahore, to bridge critical gaps in healthcare workforce. This initiative is designed to combat national and international Healthcare Assistant shortages through world-class skill development.
Minister for Primary & Secondary Healthcare Punjab Khawaja Imran Nazeer and Chairman TEVTA Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), Retd., Inagurated the pilot project along with Chairperson of the CM Task Force on Skills Development Adnan Afzal Chattha, Focal Person Salma Saadia Taimur, Secretary of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Nadir Chattha, COO TEVTA Faisal Fareed,DG ops II Amir Aziz and leadership from TT care and Hunar Foundation.
Chairman TEVTA highlighted that the six-month course is conducted in both morning and evening shifts to accommodate working individuals and students. Participants will complete 04 months of classroom training followed by 02 months of practical hands-on training in major hospitals. TEVTA has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with these hospitals to ensure quality practical experience and facilitate employment opportunities for graduates.
